This is very much about you and your loved one. I will meet your values, your needs and your wishes.

I have Empathy, having lost several friends and members of my own family. I have also lost pets and am happy to offer a Pet Memorial Service in addition to those for your human loved ones ~ for many people, their pets are their family.

You can be certain that I will look after you and your loved one with Integrity.

I will Respect your wishes and those of your loved one ~ whatever your / their wishes, they will be carried out with respect and dignity in the run up to, and on the day of, the funeral.

The eulogy

I will arrange to visit you, in your own home, and once I have all the necessary details, will endeavour to write a eulogy that honours and befits the deceased. The eulogy is something that everyone attending the funeral will remember and should be as reflective, and inclusive, as possible.

Each eulogy that I create is as unique as the person whose life you are celebrating.

Before my visit, you might want to take a little time to think of stories and memories you might like included in the eulogy. You might also wish to think of any special poem you would like read, or music you would like played. If a member of your family, or a friend, wishes to do a reading, or indeed the eulogy, then I am more than happy to accommodate this.

The main aim of my visit is to put you at your ease and allow you to share your stories and memories ~ laughter is allowed, as well as tears. This is all part of the grieving process, and I would be honoured and humbled to help you make this first step on your grief journey.

Once I have put the eulogy together, I will e-mail it to you for approval / amendment and PLEASE do not be scared to say if there is something I have put in that you don’t want in, or vice versa. I will work on the eulogy until you are happy with it. Also, if you do not have e-mail, don’t worry – I can arrange to have the draft eulogy delivered to you.
